The founder and president, Mr. Alan J. Hedlund, is a past President of the Washington- Baltimore Business Brokers Association, and is a past Director and is immediate past Executive Vice President of the Mid Atlantic Business Intermediaries Association (MABIA).
He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Hedlund is the author of a book: SALES and MARKETING FOR THE SMALL MANUFACTURER (1976) . He is been included in "Who's Who in American Business."

Mr. Hedlund is also an expert small business appraiser and has appeared frequently as a court approved witness providing appraisals and evaluations. He has achieved the C.T.I. (Certified Transaction Intermediary) designation.

Mrs. Irina Zaytsev was the owner of her own successful mid-size business for the past 22 years in Washington DC. She has an extensive background in retail, wholesale, manufacturing, product development and marketing. Mrs. Zaytsev possesses vast knowledge of demographics and development in the Washington metropolitan area. She contributes firsthand experience into acquisition and evaluation of small to mid-size firms. She is multi-lingual, being conversant in Spanish and in Russian as well as English.
